Working with Sketji on both iPad and iPhone – larger format on iPad yields a different quality of drawing so there are two separate narratives/sequences running all the time. A fork in the road of continuity – analogous to working two paintings at once. Also, the two different size formats influence the finger gestures. The iPhone is used more frequently and perhaps more surreptitiously, whereas the iPad is a more deliberate choice, used mainly at home and perhaps with a different quality of attention.
